Attorney
RICHARD CONFORTI

Richard N. Conforti is the Managing Attorney of the Prelitigation Department at Saban and Solomon. He oversees every case the firm handles before suit is filed, from the first notice of representation through settlement.

Mr. Conforti began his career on the other side. Before joining Saban and Solomon, he practiced at a prominent insurance defense firm, where he learned how carriers evaluate claims, how adjusters set reserves, and how defense counsel builds a file long before a lawsuit is ever served. He now applies that knowledge directly against the carriers. Every demand package his department produces is written with a clear understanding of how it will be read, scrutinized, and valued on the other side of the file, and what it will take to move a claim to its full value without litigation.

As Managing Attorney, Mr. Conforti is responsible for the strategy, quality, and outcome of every prelitigation file. He personally reviews case valuation, insurance coverage, and settlement posture, and he holds the department to a standard in which no claim is settled for less than the evidence supports. Where a carrier refuses to pay fair value, he does not hesitate to position the file for litigation and to preserve every remedy available under Florida law, including claims for bad faith.

Mr. Conforti also believes that the strength of a case is inseparable from the strength of the attorney-client relationship. He and his team keep clients informed at every stage, answer their questions directly, and make certain that each client receives the time, attention, and candid advice they are entitled to. Clients are never a file number.

His practice concentrates on motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, product liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and wrongful death.

Mr. Conforti earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where he served as Goodwin Editor of the Nova Law Review and competed as a member of the Moot Court Society. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Central Florida.
